I’ve heard that women in the Philippines like American men but what about the ones that are Filipino. I think that they would like us because we are Americanized, but at the same time have the same cultural values. But is it difficult to relate to another Filipino who doesn’t even know how to speak tagalog?
Anyways, what do women in the Philippines think about dating an American born Filipino?
I think dating has nothing to do with race.
Half-pinoys or not, you go with someone you like. Not because of their nationality or race but because you like them, you want to know them better and you enjoy being with them.
As for tagalog, one can eventually learn and most Filipinos anyway, knows how to speak English, so, languange is not really a barrier.

Some Fil-Ams I know treat themselves like they belong to the upper class high tech world. They like to boast on all the things… but mostly are friendly and family oriented. *-*
Juz as long as they’d understand and respect each other (aside from love). A girl friend who is in Michigan (she’s a filipina who juz migrated there) told me that the filipino guys there are kinda conceited thinking maybe they’re much better (hope this is not true)^_^
There should be no problem as long as he understands and respects my values.
First and foremost – Filipinas can accept any kind of race as long as that guy will respect them and treat them nice. The race doesn’t matter.
However, I have met a lot of Fil Am guys and those guys act different from American guys. Fil am guys act as if they are higher than Filipinas or may tend to be boastful as compared with American guys. Maybe its because the Fil am are raised in a Filipino culture and at the same time needed to blend nicely in an American setting.
I have met a lot of Americans (I work in an American Company in the Phils.) and those American guys look at Filipinas with respect. I once dated an American guy here in the Phils. , and he is so sweet and loving. And I also dated a Fil am when in US, and its really different. I believe, it comes with their attitude. I was expecting to get more respect from the Fil am, but no. But I know the scenario will vary depending on the person. I am not saying the Fil Am guys are boastful.
Heck, I have a british fiance, and I am loving every minute we are together.
filipino or not , women in philipphines still date them…because women in philipphines are not choosy…and some filipinas have not handsome boyfriends even the artist/stars…they choose only boys who have good morals and have good job.

hey i’m an american born filipino! but the difference is i’m a girl… lol. i’ve barely been living in the philippines for a year now and it’s really hard to date the guys who are born and raised here. maybe we have the same morals like, things that our parents taught us but from my experience, dating is like a whole other world. first of all, it’s sooooooo hard to have conversations with them.. i dont really speak filipino so well so it’s reallyyyy hard to find things to talk about because they may not understand my english as i may not understand their filipino. and no one really courts in the states.. i mean i guess they do but it’s different. and there’s always the doubt that they only like you for your money. and blah blah..
